I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. I know what it's like to lose a much-loved friend and my heart aches for you. It sometimes seems so random we choose this puppy or that, or that rescue dog, or this, and yet so soon they become one of the most important creatures in our life, integral to our home and well-being. I'm so sad to hear this, Barb. No words can console or really help at this time. When we lost our beloved Shadow at 16 our lives were truly diminished. She is talked of often, her quirky habits remembered and her loving devotion still painfully missed even after six years. Ollie had a wonderful loving family and a perfect life. That was your daily never ending gift to him. Xx
